Fruit Cobbler


UTENSILS: Electric Skillet

INGREDIENTS:
2 Large Cans Crushed Pineapple
10-15 Maraschino Cherries
4 TBSP Brown Sugar
½ Stick Butter or Margarine
1 Box Moist Deluxe Yellow Cake Mix

COOKING INSTRUCTIONS:

Preheat skillet on 300. Add butter; allow butter to melt completely. Add brown sugar; allow brown sugar to absorb all of the butter; spread evenly over bottom of the pan. Pour in entire cans (including juices) of pineapple; evenly distribute cherries over the top of the pineapple. Pour dry cake Mix over the top of the fruit and spread evenly. Cover and cook on 300 until the water seal forms. Reduce to simmer and allow to cook for 10 minutes. Unplug the unit and allow to stand 10-15 minutes covered.

NOTE: Could use diced peaches or mixed fruit, your choice. Could also use apple pie or cherry pie filling and a spice cake mix. Play around with your favorite combo!
