Roasted Green Beans

Utensils: electric skillet

2 lbs green beans
1-2 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon Kosher salt
½ teaspoon fresh ground pepper

Preheat skillet to 300 degrees.  Wash, dry well, and trim green beans.  Put green beans on baking sheet with edges.  Drizzle with olive oil.  Sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste.  Use your hands to be sure all the beans are evenly coated and spread them out into one layer.  Roast for 20-25 minutes, turning every 5-10 minutes, until beans are fairly brown in spots and somewhat shriveled.  Serve hot or at room temperature.
